This international event is one of the largest gathering of chemistry educators in the world which brings together over 1000 teachers committed to inspiring tomorrow’s leaders in the sciences.

This years conference took place in State College, a town located in the scenic hills of rural Central Pennsylvania and the home of Penn State University.

Over 1300 delegates joined the five-day event, including middle school science teachers, high school chemistry teachers, undergraduate and graduate students, and professors.

All share a committment to excellence in chemical education and come together to stay up to date with innovation, technical progress, new methodology and applications. The numerous technical and poster sessions, workshops, plenary lectures provide the perfect opportunity for networking while learning.

At the exhibition the Bruker booth featured an array of teaching solutions including NMR with the Fourier comapct NMR system, FTIR solutions including the compact ALPHA amongst others. It also offered something a little different… play while you learn!

In the evenings after the main pressures of the day Bruker introduced a new audience to the pleasures of HD NMR Yahtzee! A steady flow of delegates came to the booth, invitation ticket in hand to try their luck at rolling the HD NMR symbols in the right combination to win a Kindle.
