Last night (Thursday) was the finale of our week of events and entertainment at ENC. The Bruker suite opened for one last time with an invite to all to come and enjoy our farewell party.
It was also the last chance to have a go at our NMR in HD Yahtzee style game as many of you tried to secure a rare keepsake… our special collectable dice.
HD Yahtzee was quite the attraction during ENC, and ‘gaming hour’ often saw some very hectic dice throwing – with the sudden, magic appearance of all 5 symbols taking quite a few winners by surprise. We hope you all enjoy your new Kindle Fire prizes and load up some fascinating reading material to share with colleagues as soon as you get back to the lab.
With the promise of a chance to dance the night away the suite was soon busy, in readiness for the band to the take to the stage.
It wasn’t very long before the eclectic mix of music from both the band and the DJ saw anything from rock to salsa, and Brazilian to good old disco sounds encourage people on to the dancefloor.
The night went on to the early hours for the ‘die-hard scientist’ – with the last photo capturing the mood at 1.30 am!
Friday morning will see the last of the Plenary talks and the closure of the conference, so again Bruker wishes everyone a safe journey home, and we look forward to seeing you again soon at your next local or international meeting.
