On the morning of October 20, a research team of the Chinese Zhigong Party and the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) led by Wan Gang, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Chinese Zhigong Party and Minister of Science and Technology, made a trip to the Zhongguancun Dongsheng Science and Technology Park, where they visited Bruker’s Beijing Center of Excellence.
The delegation was accompanied by Jiang Zuojun, Member and Deputy Secretary General of the CPPCC Standing Committee and Executive Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Chinese Zhigong Party, Yan Xiaopei, Member of the NPC Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Chinese Zhigong Party, Cao Hongming and Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Chinese Zhigong Party, and Yan Aoshuang, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal People’s Congress and Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese Zhigong Party, as well as members and officials of MOST, the Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, the Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPC, the United Front Work Department of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPC and he Central Committee of the Chinese Zhigong Party.
At the Beijing Center of Excellence, Xu Huaiqing, Service Director at Bruker BBIO China, introduced in details the company’s history, mission and motto as well as the high-tech instruments showcased at the center and their applications.

Wan recognized Bruker’s offering of high-performance scientific instruments and solutions to Chinese customers in such areas as scientific research, materials science, pharmacology, clinical medicine, clinical diagnosis, food safety, environment, new energy and precision medicine.
Wan pointed out that Bruker should better utilize these instruments at the Beijing Center of Excellence to bring their role into full play in addition to offering world-class high-performance equipments and solutions and could provide comprehensive services for customers in addition to allowing them to experience the instruments and solutions to support their research projects. He promised that MOST could offer some policy support.
